An adventurous 250K/175-mile ride through beautiful Western North Carolina. The weather will be warming as spring invades the mountains around Hendersonville with the grass turning green and the trees blooming. The ride is a combination of paved, gravel and unimproved (dirt) roads through the western regions of North Carolina and the Upstate South Carolina. The ride starts at 9 am and ends at the Reeb Ranch around 5p on Saturday with dinner and raffles.
The ride includes one rest stop with snacks and drives, marked gas stops along the route, breakfast, and dinner available for purchase. For an added experience, camping in the North Carolina countryside can be added at registration.
The ride is a fundraiser for the benefit of the Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County.
This is a great event to shake off the winter doldrums and get the bike ready for summer.
