Fall Bucket List: Hendersonville, NC

  1. Take a walk on Main Street and treat yourself to a pumpkin square from McFarlan’s Bakery.
  2. Hike to Triple Falls in DuPont State Forest.
  3. Take a nature walk at the Park at Flat Rock.
  4. Visit the Hendersonville Farmer’s Market on Seventh Avenue to buy some fall veggies and maybe a bretzel from the Underground Baking Company’s table.
  5. Pick out a pumpkin from Jeter Mountain Farm.
  6. Get an apple cider donut and Pink Lady apples from Skytop Orchard.
  7. Take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to peep at some leaves.
  8. Grab a cup of coffee from Appalachian Coffee Company and walk through Laurel Park.
  9. Take a hot yoga class at YAM to warm up from the fall chill.
  10. Hike the Big Rock trail in DuPont State Forest and take in the spectacular fall color from the top of the mountain.
  11. Visit the Carl Sandburg home and enjoy seeing the goats.
  12. Take Barre at the Bar, hosted at Never Blue and put on by the YMCA and enjoy a drink after class.
  13. Go to Oklawaha Brewing and enjoy one of their stouts on a fall evening.
  14. Visit Mast General on Main Street to check out fall sweaters and boots.
  15.  Take a trip to Stepp Orchard to see the sunflower field and buy more apples. You can never have too many!
