Free screening of “The Report” hosted by ACLU of NC–WNC Chapter

The ACLU of NC—WNC Chapter, together with Carolina Jews for Justice, will host a free screening of the 2019 film, “The Report,” on Feb 16 at 1PM at A-B Tech’s Ferguson Auditorium (310 Victoria Rd., Asheville). The film, based on actual events, follows an idealistic Senate staffer (played by Adam Driver) as he leads an investigation into the CIA’s post-9/11 Detention and Interrogation Program. Following the screening a talk on the film’s theme will be given by Col Larry Wilkerson (US Army, ret.), former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell during the lead-up to the US war in Iraq..
