National Train Day Celebration

A fun filled day long celebration of railroading will take place at the Historic Hendersonville Train Depot on Saturday, April 11 from 9am-3pm. Activities for all ages include 3 model railroads, one of which is just for kids to operate, a working Morse code telegraph system, a real diesel locomotive and its crew on display, a variety of short talks about railroading, a video about the famous Saluda Grade, displays of railroad artifacts, a food truck and an ice cream vendor.  For more information.
