The Language of Painting

This four-week course will focus on painting as a medium for visual expression and the exploration of formal and technical concerns within the parameters of studio projects. For the intermediate to seasoned painter, we will encourage students to develop and strengthen sensitivity to shape, line, rhythm, and the plastic structures possible within the realm of painting. You will be introduced to the works and concepts of historically significant painters as they relate to your own personal artistic practice.  For more information.
