Valentine’s Day Events: No Reservation

Maybe expensive wine and chocolate isn’t quite your style. Maybe you crave a Valentine’s Day that is more casual and affordable. Or, maybe you would rather spend Valentine’s Day surrounded by a group of friends rather than one special someone. If that’s the case, check out our roundup of local Valentine’s Day events that do not require a reservation.

Valentine’s Day at Dry Falls Brewing (February 14th 12pm-12 am, Music at 8pm)

Dry Falls Brewing is one of the newer breweries in Hendersonville, and it is proving itself to be quite popular. Located on Kanuga Road, it’s close to Main Street while being far enough away that parking is much more accesible. Dry Falls will be pouring a special new beer for Valentine’s Day, and the band Trio de Janiero will be playing music starting at 8:00 pm. The Usual Suspects food truck will also be there in case you need some snacks while enjoying delcious beer.

Valentine’s Day ‘Steal the Pint’ at Bold Rock Cider (February 14th 11am-10pm)

Bold Rock is just outside of Hendersonville in Mills River, but it can still boast a Henderson County address. On Valentine’s Day, customers will receive a complimentary “Apple of my Eye,” pint glass with any purchase of a 16 ounce cider. They will also be featuring the classic romantic comedy, Sleepless in Seattle, on their jumbo screen.

Valentine’s Date Giveway at Timber Axe Throwing (February 14th 5pm-11pm)

This one does technically require a reservation, but there is still plenty of time, and this Valentine’s Day date could come with a sweet surprise. For every couple that makes a reservation to throw axes on the 14th, they will be entered into a giveaway for two passes to the Biltmore Estate. Try something a little adventurous for Valentine’s Day, and you may end up with two dates instead of one!

Valentine’s Day at Sanctuary Brewing Company (February 14th at 8pm)

Rounding out our list is Sanctuary Brewing Company. Located on First and Main, Sanctuary Brewing Company is known for their tasty beer and passion for animals. They’re known for being vegan friendly and spreading kindness throughout the community. On the 14th, the band Stray Mutt with Ashley Bean will be performing starting at 8:00 pm.
